Diving the Caribbean - Aruba
Airplanes,
mooring buoys, oil tankers, a foreign freighter, barracuda, and
manta rays are just some of the wonderful treasures that you'll
discover at the spectacular reef and wreck dive sites in Aruba.
Diving enthusiasts at all levels will enjoy journeying the refreshing
waters of Aruba at depths exceeding 100 feet. Some of the most noteworthy
spots include the Antilla Wreck - visibility at 60 feet - which
is the largest in the Caribbean. The 400-foot-long German freighter
sunk in 1945 when it was in mint condition. Its large compartments
give you room to trundle, and encourage great chases between the
angel and yellow tail fish that linger around the corridors. Several
resorts in Aruba offer dive packages that include equipment and
tours.
